Block Printing Development
In my senior collection, I incorporated my own interpretation of a topographical map through a wooden block print. The block print was created through one of my digital rendering sketches and with the help of my the Marist College Makerspace. Within the Makerspace I utilized the laser cutting machine to carve the wood in order to achieve precise lines.
This motif is designed to represent a feminine floral arrangement as well as a topographical map. I incorporated this print within the garment linings of the Trench coat and the Bomber jacket. This motif can also be seen in my collections accessories.
