The Harriet consists of two powerful pieces, each inspired by a pioneer of aviation.

The Harriet Quilted Top:

Harriet Quimby became the first female licensed pilot in the United States in 1911. She was the first ever to fly at night and the first female to pilot her own plane across the English Channel. Harriet designed her own flight suit with button adjusters that provided better mobility while flying. Her flight suit could transform from a jumpsuit to a dress, dependent on how she buttoned the legs of the flight suit.

The Willa Pleated Pant:

Willa Brown was the first African American female to earn a pilots license and commercial flying license in American.
